Review of LG 36 Wide LFX28978ST 27.6 cu. ft. French door refrigerator - Stainless Steel now I have owned the refrigerator for about 2 years. I'm not one to go through my way of saying bad things about the product, but I was only made for the fridge because it costs so much.
Do not buy this fridge if you want the ice machine that spits ice everywhere, and died after year. Or if you want to wake up regularly at the open house and hot food because it fell LG to build their own closed doors.
Besides that only run properly, the horrible shop. Coming from a side-by-side, I feel like I'm always struggling to find space in the fridge - in part because the top of the fridge which is occupied by a huge light and water filter. One last nit, the drawer of the freezer regularly becomes dislodged.
And "junk. Beautiful litter, but junk.
Review of LG 36 Wide LFX28978ST 27.6 cu. Ft. French Door Refrigerator - Stainless Steel This is to mention the poor customer service from LG and the unprofessional attitude of their management. We recently bought a new LG French door refrigerator stainless steel, model LFX28978ST. We got our best offer for Home Depot and have it delivered promptly. E 'come so full of blue plastic to cover all steel surfaces for protection. We have inspected the unit to make sure that it was in good shape, but left the plastic in place. We had to complete to install our new kitchen floors before installing our new LG, we had the people who deliver the units out of the traffic pattern where it has remained intact for 9 days.
When they are finished on the floor, we installed the custom refrigerator cabinet in which they fit perfectly. Once in force relating to water and power, we have removed the plastic on the doors as cooled so that you can start putting things in it. And 'after removal of the plastic we noticed a small dent but the strong diagonal of about 8 inches long on the bottom freezer drawer. As we watch the unpacking and moving the unit to our house the week before, the tooth is clearly verified in the factory. We immediately called Home Depot, and asked who called LG because the new unit.
We called LG, and in short, they said they would not do anything. The position we have only 7 days (this was the day 9) to report any damage. Nothing in any document says, but they said that this is their policy. We asked to speak to a manager, said the same thing and said: ". Let the buyer beware" This conversation lasted maybe 15 minutes, but did not avail.

I like it, but it will surely be some ..(See Full Review) to adjust. A super large fridge with lots of potential. Husband took a few hours to get water to work its beak stating that the manual was well written instructions.
