I was a 'bit disappointed cooling power, but the cool space of 400 square feet in about 30 minutes, even under conditions of high humidity (I thought it would be 10,000 BTU cooling the entire apartment - but the 8-900 sq. ft. apartment, and is designed for a maximum of 500 square feet, was more wet in Brooklyn late). The function of the air filter is also very nice for people with spring allergies (I). Overall, the ratio price / quality excellent and the simplicity of AC makes it a bargain. The advantage of Free Shipping. Word of caution - make sure the unit is tilted at least 15-20 degrees out - so that the water unit is "spitting".
Update: After two months use, I had to do with two weeks of very hot temperatures. AC can not hold up to 100 degrees and probably not because of the high humidity really cool any home. I would suggest that AC for medium-sized rooms. The room is 400 square feet cooled only when the temperature is below 92-94 degrees - not if not, really.

It has a remote thermostat and temperature control throughout the room. The unit is equipped with Clean Air ionizer. For people with allergies, and this is a plus. Go to frigidity and download specifications. The filter is easily removed for cleaning. The unit is easy to install.
